It seems like its making some progress, but then I realized many of the photos its trying to backup are duplicates from before! iPhone 6, iOS 10.2 Google Photos 2.6.141718551. This app can't back up in the background. So insecure to have leave my phone unlocked with this app open for hours and hours backing up duplicates before the recent photos can be backed up.
